A personalized 6-month journey for children with ongoing or complex health concerns

When your child continues to struggle with the same symptoms, it can feel like you’re constantly addressing what’s happening without ever understanding why it keeps happening.

Eczema keeps returning. Constipation never fully resolves. Your child is frequently sick. Sleep, behavior, attention, digestion, or nutrition just doesn’t feel quite right.

Sometimes, a quick visit simply isn’t enough to put all of the pieces together.

At Sun + Salt Pediatrics, we take the time to look at your child as a whole—including their health history, nutrition, digestion, sleep, development, environment, lifestyle, previous treatments, and testing, while keeping evidence-based pediatric care at the center.

The goal isn’t more testing or more supplements.

It’s to better understand your child, identify areas where we can meaningfully support their health, and create a plan that is realistic for your family.

Initial Deep Dive | 60–75 MinutesWe start by putting the pieces together. Your comprehensive evaluation includes:• Full medical + symptom history• Health timeline from pregnancy and birth through today• Nutrition + feeding review• Digestion + gut health• Sleep + lifestyle• Development + behavior• Environmental factors• Medications + supplements• Previous treatments• Review of existing labs + medical records Your Personalized RoadmapNo two children are the same, and their plans shouldn’t be either. Based on your child’s history and needs, their personalized plan may include:• Nutrition recommendations• Lifestyle + environmental changes• Targeted supplementation when appropriate• Conventional laboratory testing • Specialty functional testing when clinically useful• Referrals + care coordination when needed Testing is never ordered simply for the sake of testing. We’ll discuss what information a test may provide and whether the results are likely to change our approach. Results + Care Plan VisitOnce testing is completed, we’ll review the results together and connect them back to your child’s symptoms, history, and overall health. We’ll prioritize what matters most and create practical next steps so you aren’t leaving with an overwhelming list of things to change all at once. Ongoing Follow-Up + SupportYour journey includes 4 additional functional follow-up visits throughout the six months.
